Brehm Cascadia Artist Residency

In conjunction with First Covenant Church

This year, I am participating in an artist residency through the Brehm Cascadia Artist Residency at Fuller Seminary, in conjunction with First Covenant Church. This is a nine-month program which includes retreats, readings, spiritual practices, and shared meals with other churches and is focused on art and faith and bringing stories and art into our churches.

I am setting aside time each week to produce art related to my faith — and I am exploring a new medium, silkscreen printing. I am also leading participants from the congregation in several art installations. As a part of this journey, I am documenting my work through photography and time-lapse video. 

At the end of this residency, I will have a retrospective art exhibit to show all the work that was produced this year. Stay tuned! ~ Sandy
